Arleigh and her fireworks, no she didn't do them nor did I let her play wth these long, just long enough to snap a photo.
She was terrified of the flowers that also cracked at the end.
Cool man....cool
We went to the Jordanelle Reservoir one weekend with my family. It was really fun and we all got really burned.
All the kids were putting sticks on the waves and racing them to see whose would get back to the shore first. I remember doing silly things like this when I was a kid. Holy Cow where does the time go!!!
My niece Arabelle and Helena.

At the fireworks...hahah Arleigh loved it can't you tell?
I titled to post the little train that could because it seems like we are crazy swamped this summer. We don't have a free weekend until August 19th and then we start another semester that following Wednesday. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining. I love staying busy and I am so grateful to be able to go back to school. It's funny you have a baby and then you can just lose yourself. I notice I've lost a lot of who I thought I was before I had her. Before I had her I thought I was cool, I loved music, fashion, and just going out taking pictures and being crazy. After Arleigh it was all about her ( which is my choice and I'm whole heartedly willing and ready because well, I love being a mother). I went to see the Decemberists on Thursday and I almost didn't go. It ended up being AAWWWWEESSOMe!!!! The smells(not good necessarily) the music and the feeling. It was like a rush of ME coming back and it was incredible. As a mom it's easy to lose yourself and that's okay but it's also okay to have some time to yourself. When I started exercising was when I started being me and I'm gonna continue to remember who I am so that I can be the best wife, mother, and me. I am so grateful for the example of great mothers in my life, my sisters and my mom, my aunts and grandmas, as well as my friends who are all so incredible and give me great pointers.
Oh my goodness Arleigh is getting so old! She is growing up so fast! Looks like you've had a fun summer!!!
