So I had the baby about a week ago. His name is Hudson Andrew, and we all adore him. I started having contractions on Tuesday morning and later in the afternoon they went away. Then at about 930 they satarted stronger and very steady so we headed into the hospital at 1020. I tried until about 630 in the morning to do it naturally without the doctor starting me and without any pain meds. I was almost ready to actually have him but I lost focus and the pain was just too much so I got an epidural (lame I know.) He was born at 8:17 am and that was it! What I had waited 9 months for had come and gone and now we have our second child. It's pretty mind blowing to have 2 children and to realize my family is really starting. If I only wanted 1 boy and one girl I could be done having children, but, well, I'm not (as I'm sure all who read this already know).
The last week has been rough, but luckily I have an incredibly helpful husband who has played with Arleigh and helped with food and well just been wonderful. Arleigh loved Hudson to pieces, but has decided that she doesn't know how to do anything for herself anymore. It's going to be really interesting going back to reality with Tyler starting back at work. Hudson is an angel and sleeps ALL day long. He smells so good and I can't stop giving him kisses. and now for the photo part of the blog!

Well, I just can't believe he wasn't due for another 7 days, and yet still was over 8 lbs. I can't say HOW glad I am he came early. I love my little family!
And you SHOULD have more kids! They are so beautiful! awww!
