First and Last

We had our very first and our very last camping trip of the summer over labor day weekend.  A few years ago we went camping when I was pregnant with Arleigh and we went to the Ashley National Forest.  We loved our little area because we got the privacy we wanted and we had a momma and baby moose camp literally 20 ft away from us! It was incredible! so it's been a few years since we've been back but we still wanted to get the same area...it took a lot of slow driving and a lot of focus to find it again, and alas we were successful. We got there and went to explore with Arleigh.  There was this little stream and low and behold there was this, let's say 6 in trout hanging out.  When I say it was a stream I mean it.  The water was maybe 5 inches deep and it most of it was only about 4 inches wide but somehow this little guy was living the life in there!

One of my favorite things about camping is camp fire dinners.  I know to all the ladies who have been to girls camp they probably think I'm totally gross but I LOVE the hamburger/onion/potato tinfoil dinners and I make sure we eat them on every camping trip I go on. Remember the camping camping trip for my 19th bday ash? we had them that night too. I'm weird, I know, those things must be nostalgic for me but they taste delicious, Arleigh even liked it and she barely eats anything I make.Well now I'll start with photos because me talking isn't as cool as looking at the incredible beauty this earth has to provide, oh and the incredible beauty I have to provide because 1/2 the photos are of Arleigh ( I just think she's great!).

Oh I forgot to mention that Tyler reached in a grabbed the fish haha, that guy makes me laugh.

She's pointing at the fish

Arleigh loved the tent
just us

Simply orange product placement

provo falls, the water was like ice but Arleigh still wanted to "walk" in it

us again...awwwww

later I saw 2 fish, our friend from earlier and a new guy. This part of the stream was maybe 3 inches deep at its deepest. That guy on the top left of the screen was halfway out of the water.  I thought they were dead cause they didn't move..so I touched them....still didn't move...so I pushed them...nope still didn't move so I pushed him hard enough to move him off his rock, they moved after that. I felt bad because the both lost their cozy resting places. I'm a jerk huh?
this was his tail sticking our of the water...weird right?

Arleigh and her tinfoil dinner!

Star-gazer, she loved laying or sitting on all the big rocks.

Heading to the lake to fish after a FREEZING night in the tent...do we look tired?

My baby's first fishing trip..didn't catch anything but she loved looking at the fish in the water.

All in all this was a great trip and I'm grateful that Tyler loves the outdoors as much as I do because I might die if he never wanted to go enjoy them with me.
