I can't believe I haven't written anything in the last year. Since the surgery to be exact, which was about exactly a year ago. We have been incredibly blessed and taken care of this last year. Hudson has had great check-ups with the likelihood of any further complications lessening, Tyler was able to take a month off of work this summer and we were able to go to CA, and we've been able to get so much closer to being done with school. Our life basically consists of doing homework, watching movies (because after using you're brain all day when you get the chance to be mindless it's kind of nice) and, this should have been first, taking care of the kiddos. It's not easy, most of the time it's not what most would say is fun, but we are so grateful that we have the opportunities we do. It's almost gotten to the point where even the thought of talking on the phone to a friend is overwhelming because that time could be used homeworking, or playing, or, if the glorious moment presents itself, napping with the babes. I can't complain too much, however, the fact that I'm able to be a stay at home mom, and Tyler has a job that allows for him to be a full-time student as well is more than I could have ever asked for. He's wonderfully supportive of my going to school as well, and I can't imagine having embarked upon this crazy journey with anyone other than him. The kids are growing and learning and blowing my mind with everything new that they pick-up. The little lady told me today that she learned that sometimes volcanoes start under the water and then grow up! And my little buddy is saying new words every day. Today I called him dude and then he said dude. He consistently says Thank you, please, more, mom, arleigh, dad, hi, hello, and bye, but so many more randomly. Life is good, busy, chaotic, outrageously stressful, but good. Being a stay at home mom makes me feel like I'm going nuts sometimes, but I'm glad it's me going nuts and not someone else. These kids are incredible and intuitive and being their mother is truly a privilege that I can't believe my Heavenly Father has trusted me with.
The many faces of the dude
Yup he bit her toe, and yup I took a picture before I stopped him. He does this thing where he says "bite" before he bites anything and everything
